How many times have you looked for a venue that’s exclusive, but not too big? Perhaps for a special occasion, a christening, for instance, or a birthday party, or to celebrate reaching a goal?

Well, this is one of those venues that lends itself to hosting different types of event in a truly unique setting!

It’s called “Ca di Ni” (because it was once the home of somebody named Nicolò) and it stands within the walls of the ancient medieval village of Finalborgo, considered one of the prettiest villages in Italy.

In addition to two reception rooms leading off the entrance hall, this charming historic residence  encloses a delightful French-style garden, overlooked by an ancient tower and surrounded by the old defensive walls.

It really is an unexpected gem, and it lends itself perfectly as a venue for wedding receptions and banquets, and also symbolic ceremonies – permission for religious ceremonies can be requested at the Church of San Biagio, a stone’s throw from the venue – without missing out on the chance to get married in a wonderful Ligurian location.

The entire village can be seen from the tower in the garden; this is the most attractive spot for original photos, with the sea in the background.

But Ca di Ni has more to offer: inside the historic building you’ll find eight apartments of various sizes and capacities, all refurbished with the utmost respect for the original decor, retaining the character and style of bygone days.
